These are some principles to help us as web workers for God!
1.A MESSAGE TO THE ENTIRE WORLD – Revelation 14: 6; Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8
Rev.14:6 KJV “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,”
Matt.24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
How to spread the Gospel into all the world? The modern communication technology helps with this! TV, radio, Internet, media in general is used by the church and Christian ministries to proclaim the God’s Salvation Message. These are also messengers from God (symbolized by the angel in Revelation 14:6) to complete the work.
2. THE MESSAGE ON DIGITAL TABLES - Habakkuk 2:2
Hab.2:2 “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” ( Romanian translation: to make it easy to read)
God gave us a specific message and specific instructions about how to proclaim it! We need to write the message (this way it can be read by many people), put it on tables (in our days, those will be digital tables – in the computer!), and make it easy to read! Have the God’s Word as the source of everything, explain the Bible prophecies, and prepare Bible studies. Put all these on a website for people to easily access it!
3.HOW TO KEEP A WEBSITE IN TOP - Matthew 13: 31, 32; Mark 4:28
Matt.13:31, 32 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.”
Mark 4:28 “For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”
Every website start may be like a mustard seed, small and shy. But then it will grow and grow until it will become a tree.
We need to offer the best content on our websites (“the tree”), so the website visitors (“the birds of the air”) will come back often and “lodge” on our website! We need to update it regularly (every week at least) and add resources, sermons, events, news etc. Create reciprocal links with other similar websites, have a good SEO (search engine optimization) so our websites will be easily to be found on Google etc.
4.MULTIPLICATION PRINCIPLE – Matthew 25:14-30; Acts 1:8
Matthew 25:14-30 „14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. “
We need to grow our websites in quality and quantity. The Lord will bless our efforts and expand our web ministry!
5.BUILD A WEB TEAM AND TEACH OTHERS – Isaiah 53:10 last part
Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.”
Same as the Lord is happy to see his seed during the ages – his Christian disciples – same, we need to prepare web disciples, to continue the work. It is much easy to work with a team of people and prepare others to do the work when you are not there.
6. PERSONAL STRENGTH AND ENCOURAGEMENT – Colossians 3:17, 23; 1 Peter 4:11
Colossians 3:17, 23 “17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. 23 and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Peter 4:11 ”If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
As web servants of God we need to do everything as to the Lord, doing everything for His glory!
